ZipLogic is Redwood's anchor deeptech asset — a fully-homomorphic encryption company whose ZX-Engine is noise-free and bootstrapping-free by design. That is a speed advantage achieved by architecture, not optimisation, and it is what makes encrypted computation practical at production scale.
Conventional encryption protects data at rest and in transit, but data must be decrypted to be used. FHE removes that exposure: computation runs directly on ciphertext, so sensitive workloads — national records, financial data, model prompts — never need to be revealed, even to the machine processing them.
The company ships the stack end to end. ZChat delivers encrypted LLM inference, where prompts and outputs never leave ciphertext. RainDB is an encrypted SQL database, queryable at rest and in use. The EPU — an encrypted processing unit — carries FHE acceleration down to the silicon layer.
Built on twelve years of R&D under ZionChain and protected by nine granted patents, ZipLogic is held in a dedicated vehicle, owned by Redwood at the IP level, and independently fundable by strategic and sovereign capital.
